Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ClyxAI ("ClyxAI," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit clyxai.com, interact with our marketing, book a call, or use any service we operate on your behalf (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

  • Information you give us directly — your name, business name, email address, phone number, role, industry, and any details you provide through forms, demos, calls, or email.
  • Information collected automatically — IP address, device and browser type, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page, and similar analytics data through cookies and comparable technologies.
  • Information from third parties — data from advertising, analytics, scheduling, CRM, and communication platforms we integrate with on your behalf (e.g. Google, Meta, calendar and messaging providers).

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Deliver, configure, and operate the Services;
  • Respond to inquiries, schedule calls, and send communications related to your account;
  • Improve our Services, measure performance, and develop new features;
  • Protect against fraud, abuse, and security risks; and
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. Google user data

If you connect a Google account to ClyxAI, we request only the scopes required to deliver the feature you've asked for (for example, creating calendar events on your behalf). ClyxAI's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, and do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit consent, for security, to comply with law, or for operations where data is aggregated and anonymized.

4. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that host, secure, or operate components of the Services under contractual confidentiality obligations;
  • Your authorized integrations (such as your CRM, calendar, or messaging platforms), only for the purposes you've configured;
  • Legal and safety recipients when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, property, or safety; and
  • Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising attribution. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.

6. Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

7. Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work continuously to harden our Services.

8. Your rights

ClyxAI operates from Quebec, Canada and complies with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector ("Law 25") and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act ("PIPEDA"). Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate information;
  • Request that we stop using or disseminating your information, or de-index a link associated with your name (right to cessation of dissemination);
  • Receive your information in a structured, commonly used technological format (right to data portability);
  • Withdraw consent previously given; and
  • Lodge a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (CAI) or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

To exercise any of these rights, email our privacy officer at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days, as required by Law 25.

9. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International transfers

ClyxAI is based in Quebec, Canada. To deliver the Services we use reputable service providers that may store or process personal information outside Quebec — including in other Canadian provinces, the United States, and the European Union. Before transferring personal information outside Quebec we carry out a privacy impact assessment as required by Law 25 and put in place contractual safeguards to ensure the information receives equivalent protection. By using the Services you consent to these transfers.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated via email or a site notice.
